About the Club

Haverford College has an active chess club. Haverford student chess club members of various levels gather to play at weekly meetings located in the Lunt Basement Cafe (see The Student Activities Office). Haverford's chess club also sponsors on-campus chess tournaments.

Haverford sponsored tournaments:

• Haverford College/Main Line Chess Club Quad, to be held this year on March 17, 2012 (More Info).


• 8th Annual Haverford College HS Chess Open, to be held on
  March 17, 2012(More Info).
