Customs Week is Haverford College's orientation program and directly precedes the start of the fall semester. A mandatory program, Customs is designed to introduce all first-year students to college life at Haverford. During Customs you will, among other things, get to know your Customs group; take placement exams; meet with your academic advisor; attend talks lead by various students, faculty, staff, and administrators that will orient you to the services and resources offered on-campus; and, become familiar with the system of student self-governance and the academic and social honor code. Customs Program for Parents 2008 - Click here! * Students who choose to attend the Summer Tri-College Institute will arrive Sunday, August 17, 2008. **Students who participate on select fall sports teams will need to arrive earlier than Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
