1420-1422

Frank Miles Day and Brother originally built the Crozer Building which also housed the American Baptist Publication Society. It has been since demolished. The address was also used as the Steigerwalt Store. (Marone, Foundation for Architecture)

The same building that is shown below was assessed in 1917 for $1,000,000. It sat on a 46 by 230 foot foot lot. John Wanamaker owned this 13 story stone, iron, and brick building. On the side that faced Sansom street was a 9 story birck building. Presently the building is used as a high school. (Assessed Values of Real Estate)
