Beginner Ceramics

The Ceramics Studio - Sunday at 1 pm
Fascination and creation through the rotation of clay upon a wheel of
divination. In plain English - this is an opportunity to learn about throwing
pottery on the wheel.
$5-ish, depending on materials available.
Roman Baroque Art

Place TBD. Thursdays 9 - 10:15pm.
We will look at the works of Caravaggio, Caracci, Bernini, Borromini and
others, discuss Rome as a setting particularly conducive to the production
of art, and examine papal and aristocratic patronage and Baroque art in
relationship to the Catholic Church. We will also offer some general orientation
for research and reference of artworks. We hope to conclude our class
with a creative project or field trip.
$2-ish for play-doh or crayola air-dry sculpting clay.

Using SEPTA (Including buses!) to your advantage, Amtrak, Greyhound, and
other modes of transportation to get off campus. Will include special
classes on how how to get to Upenn, King of Prussia, and the ins and outs
of Center City. Also includes features such as: How to get to places that
aren't stops on the R5 and how to get home without your parents having
to come get you. Also offers: Classes tailored to the individual: Where
do you want to go? I'll tell you how get there, as well as how to teach
yourself to get to any destination you want.
