PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Hi,

Congratulations on gaining admission to Haverford College! The International Students¡¯ Association (ISA) at Haverford would like to extend you a hearty welcome, and hope that you are as excited about this as we are.

We are writing to you since you are one of the students that were considered as international students, at least for admission purposes. Through our own personal experiences as international students ourselves, we recognize and relate to the needs and concerns that you might have as an international student, especially at this stage in the process of making this crucial decision. We would be pleased to answer as best as we can any questions that you might have in the coming weeks about Haverford. We could also possibly, if you wish, put you in touch with a current Haverford student who is from your country or region.

ISA is an entirely student-run organization (having nothing to do with the Admissions Office), so rest assured; your queries or concerns will remain confidential and have no bearing on anything whatsoever as far as Haverford Admissions is concerned. So, you can write to us with the most personal to the most general questions, and be assured of getting frank, candid answers. We are here to help you make an informed decision, though we definitely hope that you bring your diversity of experiences to the Haverford community this Fall.

So, do not hesitate to email us with questions, doubts or absolutely anything in the world. If you have any specific questions that you feel would be best answered by students from your country, or if you wish to get in touch with people from your country anyway, please email me back expressing you desire to do so. I shall immediately arrange for people to get in touch with you. We would love to hear from you, and would be glad to help you out in any way we possibly can.

Good luck!

Best wishes,

Anirudh Suri,
Co-Head, International Students' Association
