There's a stupid joke in the title.
In this [here essays] folder are some short poems and stories and an essay.
Those include:
- A Disquisition on Facebook, which isn't too long
- Today, Jason..., a story, which needs renaming but isn't horrible.
- An untitled story, which was the first thing I wrote for my Short Fiction class, and which I don't hate but don't love enough to fix.
- A narrative poem called, at the moment, Naming, which ought to be continued at some point and still strikes me as being a bit too similar to Graham Greene's "The Destructors".
- Next, the second story I wrote for my short fiction class, and a story I really like, which is eventually being published in The Haverford Review (see above), a story lengthily titled Fears, Tentatively Labelled as Doorways for the Purposes of Comprehension. Apparently the correct American spelling is "labeled," but at this point I'm sticking to the one I used.
- And then there's Deer-Hunting, which is a quasi-experimental relatively short piece I wrote outside of class but handed in for my final portfolio. I really like it, but apparently it's sort of more meaningful to me than else.
